Wood Moulding
Triple R obtains moulding from manufacturers, distributors and mills. The moulding we receive is from buy backs, over runs and manufacturing seconds. All moulding we receive is graded, sorted, bundled, and unitized, in small units, for easy distribution. The molding is graded to Cascade grade. Defects allowed: small pitch pockets, planer skip, molder burn marks, small knots; face to be as clear as possible. Our process saves a lot of good moulding from going into a land fill, fuel, burned or chips. Our unusable product is not burned, it goes into chips that are used in making medium density fiberboard (MDF).
Primed MDF Moulding
The medium density medite primed moulding is a ( b ) grade product from a California mill. The moulding meets all California specifications. The moulding is graded, then cut to 8 ft. lengths. The most common defect is a flaw in the priming. It is then sorted to pattern, bundled, and unitized. Our units consist of 1- base patterns, 2- crown patterns, 3- flat stock and 4- mixed patterns.
